Louis Armstrong to Joe Zawinul, from Boogie Woogie to Rhythm & Blues, from the elegant swing of
Artie Shaw to the soulful sounds of Ray Charles,
from the down-to-earth beat of the
Count Basie tradition to the light-hearted Bossa Nova
rhythms of Stan Getz,
from simple Blues to the subtle colours
of the Duke Ellington Orchestra this is the range of
musical expression covered by the artists
working in the Jazz Party ensemble.
